Barckhaus was a very complex mandate. With advice provided on the acquisition, including the preparation of a business plan, tenant improvement, Capex, marketing and control, market approaches and on eventual sale, we were able to offer most of our spectrum of services, and with great success! Much to the surprise of the market, we managed to lease up all of the space in the property within six months of setting up a show suite; 60% of the property had lain vacant for some time before we started. It was also possible to sell the property to a German institutional investor within 12 months, after repositioning it in the market.
