Oceans & Company’s Real Estate Finance team successfully advised NAS Invest on the sourcing and execution of a senior acquisition and capex facility for the ‘Forum am Mariannenpark’ centrally located in Leipzig.
This office campus was built in 1995 and comprises 34,000 sqm office space plus additional 12,000 sqm for storage, canteen and a spacious atrium. The seller Postbank used the building as a single tenant until major parts of the floor space became vacant in the course of group-wide reorganization measures. In light of occupancy rates of c. 25%, NAS Invest plans to reposition and revitalize the building as a modern and attractive business campus.
Closing of this value add transaction took place beginning of December 2020.
